The German Technology ultra thin stone is made from various sources of stone, for example, slate stone, quartz, mica rock, and sand stone. The veneer, apart from the layer of authentic stone surface, the application of other compulsory layers like polyester, fibreglass, and resin are added to toughen and strengthen the veneer
​
Panellia Stone Veneer is considered as an alternative to stone tiles due to its ultra-thin thickness of approximately 1.5 - 2.0 mm. carrying the average weight of 1.5 kilograms per square meter.

Additional qualifications such as bendability and light-transmissive (only in translucent series) allows designers to have more design flexibility
